Information You Submit
Search Terms
A name, location, or other term entered into a search box is transmitted to the third-party company operating that tool. Dubuque County Recent Arrests does not store or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages
Information included in an email or contact submission is retained as needed to answer the message. It is not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Automatic Technical Information
Routine server, analytics, or advertising systems may collect:

- Device category and operating system.
- Pages viewed and time spent on them.

- Date and time stamps.
Cookies
Cookies help measure site use and support certain features. Visitors may block or clear cookies through browser controls, although parts of the site may then behave differently.
How Information Is Used

Websites Beyond Our Control
Links may lead to Dubuque County P2C, the Sheriff’s Office, Iowa Courts, Iowa Department of Corrections, federal locators, news sources, or outside search services. The destination’s privacy terms apply after a visitor follows its link.
Advertising companies may measure activity across multiple sites to select ads. That tracking occurs through their systems, not as a Dubuque County public record.
